We’re proud to share that 13 officials from Perak Malaysia have successfully completed an intensive training programme on Ports & Logistics, with a focus on the development of LuMIC from October 13th to 21st in Antwerp, hosted by APEC-Antwerp/Flanders Port Training Center and Port of Antwerp-Bruges International.
Over the course of the programme, participants gained hands-on insights into port management, masterplanning, port operations, logistics, digitalisation and sustainable port development, including an engaging session using the Port Endeavor game to explore the UN Sustainable Development Goals (hashtag#SDGs) in a real-world port context.
They also visited key terminals and logistics service providers across the Antwerp and Zeebrugge port platform, including Combinant nv, Katoen Natie, Euroports, and the Belgian New Fruit Wharf NV in Zeebrugge, as well as the Ostend-Bruges Airport and versluys logistics‘ Cargoville.
This initiative reflects our shared commitment to advancing the LuMIC project and our strong belief in capacity building of forward-thinking professionals ready to shape its future.
Thank you to all the experts and companies for your knowledge and generous welcome.
