We were delighted to welcome two of Europe’s leading players in sustainable ship recycling — Belgian Scrap Terminal (BST) and Soenen — on 29–30 October 2025.

This milestone visit brought together key representatives from PKNPk, Port of Antwerp-Bruges International (PoABI), BST, Soenen, and LuMIC DevCo, marking another strategic step forward in realizing Perak’s maritime transformation vision.

The programme began on 29 October with a strategic networking dinner, fostering stronger collaboration among the partners.

On 30 October, the delegation embarked on an on-site tour of the LuMIC areas, exploring the sites by both boat and road to assess connectivity and development potential.

This engagement underscores the growing international confidence in LuMIC’s vision and highlights the strong interest in developing LuMIC 3’s Green Ship Recycling Terminal — positioning LuMIC as Southeast Asia’s premier hub for sustainable and high-value maritime industries. 🌊
