On Thursday, 28th August 2025, Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNPk) held a briefing session with Members of the Perak State Assembly at the Perak Darul Ridzuan Building.

The session, chaired by YB Loh Sze Yee, Chairman of the Committee on Tourism, Industry, Investment and Corridor Development Perak and PKNPk Board Member, provided an in-depth overview of Lumut Maritime Industrial City (LuMIC).

Datuk Redza Rafiq, Chief Executive Officer of PKNPk and Board Member of LuMIC Development Sdn Bhd, presented the project’s vision, implementation, and strategic direction.

This engagement aimed to equip Assembly Members with a comprehensive understanding of LuMIC, a flagship initiative that will drive maritime industry growth and strengthen Perak’s position as a hub for sustainable industrial development.

Together, we move forward to build LuMIC as a catalyst for economic progress, innovation, and opportunities for the community of Perak.
