In anticipation of the upcoming European Union Global Gateway Forum in Brussels, Malaysia has been selected as one of the countries to showcase Global Gateway projects, highlighting infrastructure investments and their positive impact on people and communities.

We are proud that the EU Delegation has shown interest in featuring the LuMIC project and Lumut, Perak during the Forum, with video footage showcasing the industrial locations and strategic potential of Lumut.

On 20th August 2025, the EU filming session took place in Lumut, directed by Joshua Paul and supported by three professional filming crews. Our LuMIC team and the Investment team of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNPk) had the privilege of assisting the crew in capturing key industrial areas and companies across Lumut highlighting the region’s robust operations and its position as an attractive destination for global investment.
