We’re excited to share the success of our participation at the Belt and Road Summit 2025 in Hong Kong. On 11 September, our Chief Business Development Officer, Alex Staring, took the stage during the Project Investment Session on Transport & Logistics Infrastructure to present the vision of the Lumut Maritime Industrial City (LuMIC).

He highlighted how LuMIC is poised to transform Malaysia’s maritime and logistics landscape driving sustainable growth, strengthening international trade, and opening new pathways for global collaboration.

Beyond the presentation, Mr. Staring also joined the Deal-Making Sessions, engaging in productive one-to-one meetings with potential investors and stakeholders, building strategic connections that will help shape LuMIC’s future.

The summit brought together global investors, policymakers, and industry leaders, providing an excellent platform to showcase Perak’s potential as a strategic maritime hub within the Belt and Road Initiative.
